AMDOCS: eLearning

The Problem

Amdocs is a market-leader in software solutions and services for the world’s largest communications, entertainment and media service providers. One of its services is Testing. Amdocs needed a solution that would empower its Testing sales force worldwide, to help them sell its services.

However, it ruled out a traditional eLearning style because the solution had to satisfy three criteria: it must have impact; it must enable its sales team to complete their training in the shortest time possible; and it must not distract them from their day-to-day work.

The Solution

To address Amdocs’s specific needs, we created an experiential eLearning package, but unlike ‘traditional’ simple learning platforms, the package also had to encourage employees to put their new knowledge into practice.

This was done through memorable and engaging interactive scenarios that incorporated gamification and other techniques presenting users with potential challenges they could face to help them determine the right course of action to take.

To enhance learn-ability, the content was divided into small chunks representing the optimum length for completion on the go.

By providing the solution in HTML5, users could access it via mobile, iPad and desktop, offering the flexibility users needed to be able to access their training anytime, anywhere.
